October 5th

so this was a really good week. so super funny story that happened to elder Blankenship and I. we were teaching this less active guy Brodie, and during teaching him we heard the weirdest loudest nastiest fart in the world about 10 seconds long. behind Brodie sat his little four year old girl had diarrhea..... thats not the funny part the funny part is he didn't move a muscle when it happened. Brodie acted like he didn't here it. after we were trying really hard not to laugh he turned around looked at her and ran upstairs and grabbed two towels and wrapped his daughter in them. he then turned to us and said "well boys i got some crap to clean up we'll have to postpone our lesson till next week." definitely a journal entry. this week we scored tickets to conference too. we were at the Saturday and Sunday morning, my favorite session was Sunday morning and afternoon session. especially the part on sleep overs..... should of been said 10 years ago. but my favorite talk of all.... actually Sunday morning was the best session hands down. my two favorite talks from Saturday morning, Elder Hollands talk about gratitude and thanks was awesome. a very humbling talk. Elder Costa wrecked house when he talked about prophets, favorite quote from his talk " the words of a living prophet are more important than a dead prophet" he just laid it down. i really loved Elder Arnold's talk about the cow and the fence. basically told us why we have rules there there to protect us. being in on time is there to protect us. but my favorite speaker was Elder Bednar's talk about the holy ghost. i love how bold the the apostles are.
other than conference we had a good week helping our investigators progress better towards there baptism dates. Im starting to love this area. were seeing a lot of success from the youth fireside activities ill be sure to get a lot of pictures from it. this one is going to be epic. probably the best one we've every done. take a look at my photobucket i uploaded a couple pictures of baptisms and funny things. love all of you guys!?!?!
